Disaster
Wow, what a day! A demonic attack, an angelic visitation(what, another one!) and Chris disappearing. And a quick visit to Cardinal Joy to relax some ruffled feathers(of the species Dominicas werewatchiuius aggressius varity). And some orders from Fr. De La Salla which may take some time to complete. AND an invitation to join a magical society, the Society of St. Leo. In more mundane news, Francais' decor for the repaired church have been commented on(15 wow-I-love-what-you've-done-with-the-pla ce(mostly from students) and 12 oh-my-is-this-covered-by-the-second-vati can-council-Father?)some of the more conservative members for the flock). Marty is gone-gone. Abe said that he couldn't find Chris after the demon-attack-grab-rescue incident, so he passed on through the door. Is a visit to India warranted? I need to find out where Chris has gone to. During the crisis, she was referred to as Vishnu, one of the gods in the Hindu faith charged with running the universe, the others being Brahma(the creator of what was, is, and will be) and Shiva(the destroyer). Was Chris the earthly aspect of Vishnu(mental note: I seem more and more relaxed when talking about metaphysical and mythology beings and things popping in and out of my life - is this a bad sign? Should I be making a line in the sand, 'here and no further'? As usual, no quick answer arises). Why did Marduk want with Vishnu? The secret to continuing the universe? If you have the power to maintain the universe, that would imply that you can make necessary changes. Serious changes. Shit, I'm in wwaaaaaaay over my head. But its very exciting! | | Tuesday, July 12th, 2005 | | 5:06 pm |
Flatfooted
It was one of those days. Things were moving along with Chris. She seemed to trust me more. Or at least, she seemed comfortable hiding out in the storage room in the church. Francis brought her to my attention, in his usual way. Storry story, I said hello, got her some food, gave her my spare storeroom key, and let her sleep. Following advice from Marty, myself and Abe when for a little walkabout(flit-about?) town, concentrating on the Macys department store, where we saw Digitalas, the ghost who was also gifted. Yeah, unusual at the time, but we were busy with other things. Zippo, nothing, zilch, nana. A good idea was broached. Why don't we ask Marty where the gifted ghost was | | Thursday, April 7th, 2005 | | 1:50 pm |
Suppression(Game)
Asked by Fr. De La Salla, I got around to Sally Marx. She is a young good looking woman, who had had an abortion recently, but who hadn't felt the guilt that goes with the traumatic event. So, like a first year theology student, I just walked up to her door, knocked upon said door, she answered and whoosh!... I stood there, idiot-like, with no thought on how to start the conversation. Why would she talk to a complete stranger! How would I explain that I knew intimate information about her medical past? Good work Sherlock. My training with Father Devereau kicked in. He was my tutor in writing and delivering sermons and public speaking. He was very strict in that priests that he trained had the gift of the gab, or at least a good approximation, even if they weren't Irish. So I blabbed. I got a very clear vision that she was happy and had worked through the abortion issue. I admit, I was a little confused. Was Gabriel wrong? I tried to get her to tell me about what happened, hoping that either something would come up, or I would think of a good way to exit stage left. As she relived the story, I picked up on a flash of... something hidden. Was this what I was looking for? I asked her to repeat the story, I glimpsed the crack in her emotions, and worked it forward. He presto! She remembered her sorrow and guilt, and broke down, and after a quiet suggestion of visiting church for confession, and a hug, we left. My conscience was nagging me. She was happy before I got to her. But, and this is important, somebody had the ability for making her FORGET the incident entirely. Can it be done with hypnosis? I think only after extended sessions, and it would have to be restored periodically(I could be wrong). I am under the impression that Tom, her lover, and an eminent politician, had something to do with it. | | Wednesday, February 9th, 2005 | | 3:53 pm |
Experimentation(Game)
When I mentioned to Abe that I was using my gift with my parishioners at Mass, he was surprised. True, it can be looked at that I am interfering with people without their express knowledge, but the permission to touch them emotionally is implicit. People come to church because of habit, and because of need, and because of faith. Those that come out of habit can be changed if they associate going to church and confessing their sins with a gentle uplifting of spirit. This should come from practicing the sacraments, and if it is present, I can increase it, abet slightly. That the gift I use comes from God, through the intercession of the Archangel Bael, then I can consider it proper to use the gift to reinforce the feelings leading to belief in out Lord God. The feelings must be there in the first place, or else the feelings of faith are like a house built on sand, baseless and prone to destruction when tested by life's storms. | | Tuesday, February 8th, 2005 | | 2:12 pm |
Practice, Practice, Practice!(Game)
After traveling to the desert and lifting information from the Book, things have calmed down somewhat. Eric agreed to help Fr. Romero in his mission to ask Behemoth questions about Asmodeous(?). Fr. Romero is working for Fr. De La Salla. De La Salla. A very intense person, I studied under him for two years after qualifying. He was, and apparently still is heavily involved with extraordinary investigations into unexplained phenomena. According to Eric and Abe, Fr. Romero has the blue aura, like I have a green aura, which marks him as chosen of Gabriel, but from the snatches of conversation between himself and Eric, I'm not sure he knows. Fr. De La Salla is probably also chosen of Gabriel. Since he's based in Rome, does he in turn deal with someone senior to him in the Society of Jesus? Or does he deal with the Archangel Gabriel himself? With the War between Gods' Servants, is the Church best protected by being influenced by Gabriel directly? Were we not taught in seminary that God Himself gave us free will, and that He would not interfere directly in our choices? Gabriel may be breaking God's Law by overtly or covertly interfering with our Holy Father the Pope. Unless Gabriel does not fear retribution from God because God is no longer present? Implications... are serious. Faithless is he who quits when the road darkens! |
